Browser Storage Tokens - “Cookies” are small data files that are stored by your web browser when you interact with a website. We may use browser storage tokens, including cookies, to make interactions with our website easier and more meaningful. When you visit our website, our servers send an encrypted token to your device. Standing alone, these tokens do not personally identify you, but merely recognize your web browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to ODIM (UK), you remain anonymous to us. We use tokens that are session-based and persistent-based. Session tokens exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you log out or your session becomes stagnant. Each time you log into the ODIM (UK) site, a session token containing an encrypted, unique identifier tied to your account is placed in your browser. If you have chosen to identify yourself to ODIM (UK), we use the session tokens containing encrypted information to uniquely identify you and to process your online transactions and requests. Persistent tokens, unlike session tokens, remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer. Persistent tokens allow us to identify browsers that have previously visited our website. You may refuse to accept persistent tokens by activating the setting on your browser to refuse the persistence of browser storage. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse persistent storage, our system will issue tokens when you log on to our website.
